Work Sample

The following sample is typical of a fairly lightly edited piece, so you may see my approach to the process for work similar to your own.

The format in which I return edited work is outlined in each instance as:

  • the originally submitted piece
  • the edited work, including all tracking markup
  • the 'clean' copy, which is the marked up piece, with all tracking 'accepted,' so it's more easily readable by the author.

Example

Submitted piece:

In 1981, construction of the four-unit nuclear power plant in Mochovce (now in the Czech Republic) was commenced, using VVER 440/213 reactor units. With regard to conceptually non-clarified questions of the automatic control of production processes and nuclear safety, the completion of Unit 1, which was originally planned for 1985, has been gradually postponed and the completion process was not finished in time. Construction of Unit 1 and Unit 2 was completed in 1998, in 2000 respectively. A further two units were originally envisaged on the site. Work on Units 3 and 4 was started in 1986 and halted in 1992. These units remain partly built and have been maintained.
